Restorative-Backcare/Pregnancy
Location: Claughton Street Physical Therapy Centre
These classes, different in intensity but similar in approach, are designed to give the weak and aching back what it desperately needs. We begin slowly, with a focus on improving perceptual skills, before proceeding to the core of the class: a systematic engaging with the back from every angle. Attention is also paid to the neck, shoulders and hips – this is a whole-body workout. Throughout, clients are urged to do as much as feels right, while learning to avoid the excess that can lead to injury. Regular attendance will give you a strong, healthy back, improved posture and body use, and greater ease in the neck and shoulders.
Classical Mat Pilates
Location: Claughton Street Physical Therapy Studio
Great for beginners or those returning to exercise, incorporating the five basic principles. You will build core strength-the foundation of stability in exercises in order to progress. This class is designed to rebalance the body, bringing it into correct alignment, improving posture and body function. A variety of props and small equipment may be used to target different muscle fibres, and add an element of fun as well as challenge to this Classical Pilates Workout.

V2 Max Plus™ Reformer / Mat Combo
Location: Claughton Street Physical Therapy Studio
Apart from the regular equipment, the newly acquired The STOTT PILATES® V2 Max Plus™ Reformer adds a cutting edge to our offerings and a unique opportunity for our clients. Taught in groups of four, it has been designed to help clients work against very gentle tension and build up incrementally as strength increases. The V2 Max Plus offers restriction-free movement and limitless programming possibilities. For a superior workout, this piece of equipment allows the body to emulate the free, multi-dimensional movement of daily life. Its innovative vertical frame pulley system accommodates three-dimensional range of motion, maintaining workout flow and providing even, constant resistance without jarring.
Pilates Fusion
Location: Newly refurbished United Reformed Church
Begin your evening journey with Middle Eastern sounds of opium dens long forgotten. An interwoven fusion of Pilates and Yoga are ignited when opposites merge into one. This Intermediate class will challenge experienced students by exploring more in-depth the pranayama, namaskar, asana practices and the advanced repertoire of the Joseph Pilate. More intricate sequencing will introduce deeper balance, inversion and back bending poses to further cultivate ease and focus in body and mind. This class will go deep into the strengthening and awakening of core both with our muscles and attentive breath work. A great way to build strength while awakening the power of our bodies. This class is geared towards students with a consistent practice who have a recommended 6 months of regular pilates/Yoga experience.
Participants are required to bring their own Yoga Mat, Block and Blanket
Yoga - Yoga Classes are with Lou
Location: YMCA
Relaxed Hatha Yoga combined with Vinyasa Yoga emphasizes the sequential movement between postures, coordinated with and guided by deliberate breath. The Vinyasa practice becomes a moving meditation that creates strength, freedom and fluidity in the body and mind. As we learn ride the waves of breath in our Yoga practice, we learn to ride the waves of change in our lives with more ease. All levels are welcome to join this meditative practice in finding one's state of flow! Participants are required to bring their own Yoga Mat, Block and Blanket

This package is an ideal way to experience all the benefits of STOTT PILATES. It is the perfect gift for a family member or or friend and is an economic introduction to understanding the advantages of one-to one Pilates for yourself.
The price includes six 60 minute private sessions, which will incorporate a full postural analysis to tailor the sessions perfectly to your body and your fitness goals. following your 6 private sessions you can also choose to enter one group session so you can experience this type of class to see whether they are suitable for you or if you would prefer to continue with private sessions/
The full value of the private starter pack is £210 but is available to new clients for £160
Private Sessions conditions of booking.
Privates booked as singles must be used within 1 week but can be transferred to another session slot within that week up to 24 hours before your scheduled session time.
