Yoga Fusion – An East meets West Combination of Yoga & Pilates

Yoga fusion classes from Northwest Pilates and Yoga

Our Yoga Fusion classes are held at the newly refurbished United Reformed church in St Helens.

Begin your evening journey with Middle Eastern sounds of opium dens long forgotten. An interwoven fusion of pilates and yoga is ignited when opposites merge into one. This Intermediate pilates come yoga class will challenge experienced students by exploring more in-depth the pranayama, namaskar, asana practices and the advanced repertoire of the Joseph Pilates. More intricate sequencing will introduce deeper balance, inversion and back bending poses to further cultivate ease and focus in body and mind. This class will go deep into the strengthening and awakening of core both with our muscles and attentive breath work. A great way to build strength while awakening the power of our bodies.

"I look forward to the class all week. The new exercises really stretch me in mind and body I really like the calm breathing. Nisha is really good at changing the moves so we don't get complacent. I wish I could attend a class more than once a week." - Client Claire Briscoe

This class is geared towards students with a consistent practice who have a recommended 6 months of regular pilates and/or yoga experience. Particpants are required to bring their own yoga mats, blocks and blankets.

Many of our clients who participate in this course join us on our regular boutique Pilates and Yoga retreats to France - find out more.
